Personal Workbook
What can you save in your workbook?
(Video in preparation)
You can manage your saved search results, interviews, and segments in your personal workbook.
You will find this menu item on the right-hand side of the archive view.
Your workbook is archive-wide, meaning that you can view all your saved interviews, search results (archive-wide and archive-specific), and bookmarked segments from all archives for which you have access via the portal home page. In a specific archive, you will only see search results, interviews, or segments from that archive.
Using the workbook
- Under “Search results” you will find your saved search queries.
- Under “Interviews” you will find your bookmarked interviews.
- Under “Segments” you will find individual interview passages that you have marked with a gray star in the transcript.
- For all search results, interviews, or segments, the date on which you saved them is indicated.
- You can call up, edit, delete, or create a link for each entry.
- Under “Edit” (with the pencil icon), you can write notes and copy a citation to your clipboard.
Saving interviews in the workbook
- You can save your search results in the archive search or cross-archive search by clicking “Save search” at the top left under the number of search results.
- You can bookmark an interview in the interview view at the top right next to the video or audio by clicking “Bookmark interview”.
- You can bookmark a single passage in the interview view by clicking “Bookmark segment” in the respective line of the transcript.
