On March 1, 2026, we updated the privacy policy for the website portal.oralhistory.digital.de. We added information about the web application "Media Management Tool" (MMT) associated with Oral-History.Digital. The MMT enables the transfer of media files, their transcoding into usable formats, as well as automatic transcription and multimodal anonymization for scientific purposes.

In addition, a reference to multi-factor authentication was added.

The update provides transparency about the integration of the MMT and the multi-factor authentication without changing the processing of your user data. All existing data protection standards remain unchanged.
